Carbon fibers

The structure and mechanical properties of carbon (withstand strain, high pressure tolerancy and the light weight) make the carbon as the ideal way to use in the wind energy, sport sector, as well as for the big projects e.g. AIRBUS .

Main advantages of carbon fibers:

• light weight, but high stiffness, strength values and felexibility
• good tenacity, abrasion resistant, UV resistance, enviromentally safe
• very low Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) what is very beneficial for applications such as scientific instrumentation, precision measure equipments, telescopes or any other product where dimensional stability and wide temperature use is crucial
• tubes have got zero water absorption (high corrosion resistance) and high chemical resistance, what makes them ideal for use in the extremal conditions of the enviroment
• carbon tubes can conduct electric charge: use away from power lines and avoid lighting flashes
