The goal was to lighten the axles and add to the rigidity. We have developed more rigid tubes (about 150 % percent) over those the team used until then. Our carbon tubes are much easier.
As well, we developed in collaboration with a team aluminium inserts and bonding system to conect the tubes, so the connection tube – alluminium insert endured in thrust 3 tons.
